I hope so, too.
A lot of people are trying Behar's strategy. They figure they know who comprises the demographic that watches their shows/reads their newspapers/reads their magazines/blogs and then they attack Beck, Limbaugh, OReilly and/or Hannity in the hope that it will generate bigger audiences for the Behar-types from that demo. Meanwhile, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly are getting all kinds of viewers/listeners (not just conservatives) because of the free publicity (and the lib monitors). Remember in TV land/radio land, nobody cares whether you like the host/show, they just care that you are watching/listening.
The funny thing is, their supposedly "intelligent" liberal audiences haven't picked up on the fact that Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity and Limbaugh don't raise their taxes, don't mess with their healthcare, don't spend their kids' futures away, don't provide jobs, don't pee in their cheerios, etc. Because the Democrats control the House, Senate and the White House, the Democrat politicians in charge are responsible for every rotten/good thing coming the public's way because they have the power. Apparently, there's not much good to brag about these days so it's tough being a lib talk/news show host. Better talk about Limbaugh, Beck and O'Reilly. Of course EVERYONE knows who those guys are but that's thanks to the lib media and the Democrats in power, including the President, giving them all of this free publicity.
When is the last time you heard any of the Behar-types go after John Boehner or Mitch McConnell or Michael Steele? They can't because I'll bet many in their demo couldn't tell you who those guys are. That's not going to excite their audience but whose fault is that if they're always clucking about talk radio and TV opinion jockeys? That's why if they REALLLY need a politician, they dig up George Bush but people are starting to notice he's not in office anymore so that's wearing a little thin.
