Playboy's not that bad, Being a Playboy bunny use to not necessarily mean you were in a magazine, a lot of them were just waitresses dressed up like bunnies serving drinks. I don't allow it in my house though, because one time someone brought a huge box of dirty magazines over to store b/c they were moving back home. Playboy was probably the cleanest one. Haha I don't think so, I'm not letting my husband look at girls with nicer bodies than me naked in sexual positions. No way. Does Playboy even have that much money anymore? I thought they've been taking a big hit lately.

I've had a subscription to Playboy for a couple of years now. Naked women (even if they're airbrushed and %25 percent plastic ) are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I do read the articles and they interviews are pretty damn funny. Would I ever get a 'bunny' tattoo?? Absofreakinlutely not. Why would you want to advertise a company that doesn't belong to you, and for free?

I can look at a naked person and not get aroused...apparently others can't.

And I honestly would rather see a teenage boy deal with what are natural and healthy feelings that way and via Playboy than go out and either get girls pregnant or get/spread diseases (safe sex isn't always 100% safe).

Believe me, even when I was that age, Playboy was rather tame compared to Hustler/Penthouse or more "underground" stuff for that matter.

I don't know if Playboy is 'cool', I don't find it cool, I think a complex wicked fast guitar solo is cool in my opinion. Men like naked women and vice versa, Playboy has that, thus men get it, whether or not they want to burp the worm is their own choice, some look, some act. Besides, that woman with the tattoo on her back will probably look in the mirror when she is in her 60's and go 'What the hell was I thinking??' plus there is a lot more hardcore and rougher porn out there on the market, such as online sites you pay for, free sites, hustler, penthouse, etc.

This trend has unfortunately permeated England too.
Outside a lapdancing club near me theres usually one or two cars parked outside covered in nasty Playboy graphics, which seems quite a common phenomenon like this one below...
Barryboys.co.uk :: View topic - SFS - Coalville Morrisons Pink Playboy Ka
They are usually little pink cars or convertibles so i assume (hope!) they are womens cars.

It seems mainly a girl of a certain class who does this, usually with no more ambition than taking her top off, or, if shes really attractive spending a few weeks with a footballer until he moves along to his next concubine.
I never use the lapdancing club, its next door to the post office.

I met a girl recently and she had a Playboy bunny tattooed on her back. Why would someone do this to themselves?
Young, foolish girls forget that in 50 years the cool bunny on their lithe bodies will look like a runny Rorschach test.

Some people suggest it's empowerment; I don't buy that. A young women who has to express her sexuality or desirability with a copywrited logo on her body is not empowered; she is insecure.

Music videos, reality tv, etc., have objectified young women. Is it empowerment to shake one's rump in front of a ghetto thug rap star on a video with a dozen other scanilty clad women?

Several people have written that Playboy magazine is a tool for masturbation, is a tool to get a male aroused (that isn't Time magazine in the donor booth at the Sperm bank, is it?) Others have written that it features well known and respected writers and humorists.

According to Playboy, the median age of their subscribers is 35.3 years and only 37% of all readers are married. Methinks the pictures of air brushed female perfection is the primary reason for purchase/subscription.

Would one of these men, upon spying a young woman sporting a Playboy tattoo think:

1) Oh! Marriage material!
2) I can see us in a long term relationship.
3) Playboy - I'm getting lucky!

Playboy magazine is primarily a masturbation aid. It is used by young boys to trigger arousal while they stroke their genitals. Looking at loads of these type of photos will likely result in compulsive masturbation which can have a negative effect on a boys life. Secretly doing this is no "playboy" lifestyle and is more the mark of a person with a closeted obsession/vice. As gross as the behavior that playboy magazine has spawned why would somebody tattoo the trademark of a masturbation aid on their body?

How this magazine has a somewhat positive reputation is amazing. They have a TV show for the old man and used to have night clubs. Did people use the magazine to masturbate in public within those clubs? There is even a club in Vegas at the Palms which is themed after the masturbation aid. It really should be known as the publication that gave millions a dirty little habit that led to much secret compulsive behavior. That bunny should stand for something dirty and nasty that compels young boys into compulsive behavior; certainly not anything cool.

None of what your saying is being forced upon you. If you don't like tattoos, then don't get one. If you don't like Playboy, then don't 'read' it. If you don't like masturbation, then don't do it. In the meantime, stop mentally masturbating about a Playboy bunny tattoo.

Decided it was time to buy a Playboy tonight just for kicks. Hadn't purchased one in ages. Went to the bookstore and could not find one. They suggested the convenience store. Nothing there either. Guess nobody in Santa Fe reads Playboy.

Default Hefner is the master of masterbaters

Playboy has much in common with the Marlboro brand. At this point nobody is going to tattoo the Marlboro cigarette logo on their body as they know it stands for cancer and addictive vice. They should also know that Playboy stands for masturbation and female white slavery.

The thing that Playboy and Marlboro have in common is that they have successfully marketed something that was harmful and compulsive to the masses. Playboy introduced porns to the masses and opened the door to all forms of smut no matter how depraved. Behind the scenes these women of porn are abused like slaves and even forced into bestiality or other depraved sex acts to keep advancing the avant garde of hardcore porns. . Playboy opened the door to these forms of slavery. Playboy was the starter mag that introduced masturbation to a whole generation of boys but marketed masturbation as a "playboy" lifestyle with hot women, celebrities and fast cars. The reality is that the magazine was selling the act of stroking yourself to reach the genital spasm while looking at the magazine. In reality the use of the magazine could hardly be considered sexy or interesting but more an introduction to compulsive behavior and a vice that takes control of the users sexuality.

In the same way Playboy marketed vice Marlboro marketed nicotine addiction as a "rugged cowboy" lifestyle. Destroying ones lungs and chaining oneself down to a vice became "cool" and a act of liberation. This is how marketing turned reality on its head. Marlboro snared generations of people into an addiction that would kill them and reduce the quality of their life. Any sane person would not tattoo either of these brands that stand for "vice marketed as coolness" on their body.
