What does the President of the United States earn? Does the President have more responsibility than a band executive?
You are kidding right? After four years how much does the president make? By the way the President makes 400K year.
Your argument still doesn't get a good executive in the door of any company much less one that is going to require frequent trips to capitol hill to be grilled. For 200K ain't happening.
Yet people had no problem agreeing to the terms and proceeded to charge up a storm. And the banks are to blame here ?
I am well aware my CC rate could be jacked up any given month so I pay in full. There is no way in heck I would charge up $5K, $10K and then pay off "minimum payment" for 10-20 years.
This same tactic should motivate bank executives. The executives were okay with a government bailout, to fix what they screwed up, until they learned it would affect their bonuses. Great integrity those executives have!
Sigh..please tell me what kind of executive you will get to run these companies for 200k. None of you rabid, venomous people with a vendetta have been able to answer this.
Someone with integrity. How much does the President earn to run our country? What if we had to pay our president as much as a bank executive?
Obama DOES NOT HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY to interfere with and dictate to, the compensation paid to corporate executives.
This is an illegal intrusion into private business operation
Then again, Obama does not care about the Constitutionality of what he does.
He does not care about the rule of law.
Wouldn't the government bailouts give the government the highest percent of shares in the company? Doesn't that give them the authority to make decisions?

Yeah and we are the government remember "by the people for the people...." What our elected representitives are doing is foolish and vindictive and is hurting our asset.
