I just read this on Salon. Supposedly, it originated from Pajamas Media's Michael Ledeen, who also erroneously reported that that Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had died back in 2007.
Rush took it as a true story without checking the facts. When Rush found out that it is a fake, he didn't admit to his errors, but rationalized with "I know Obama thinks it."

What else is new about Rush's talk show? All of it is fiction or a figment of Limbaugh's imagination! When confronted, Limbaugh will back away saying he is an "entertainer".
The problem is people who are not real good at thinking for themselves buy his B.S. hook, line, and sinker!
These guys don't even have the character to admit they were wrong in a straightforward way.
Instead they say yes it seems I was mistaken but this all could have been true knowing what I know about Obama....LOL
coming from the group that lectures everybody about accountability and owning up to your mistakes and failures...I will die a independent but unfortunately have to support democrats because conservatives/republicans are just becoming sickening..
When I heard him speak about the thesis, I kept saying Mr. Obama has not ok'ed the release of his thesis. The on-the-air disclosure of the straight up lie by Limp was so weak.

The attacking of Rush, a commentator, while excusing those with real powers will never cease to amaze me..
Considering past comments made by Obama with regard to the Constitution, how could anyone blame Limbaugh?
