Think of all the unwanted dogs we kill yearly. We just don't eat them, but that could be the magic stuff they put in Jack in the Box tacos.
A few years ago animal lovers got all the horse slaughtering plants in the US closed because "We all love horses". They were suppling horse meat to the world.
Those plants moved to Mexico, we lost over 3000 jobs here in TX. Now there are many more reports of horse abuse since there is no place to take them to be slaughtered.
Whether it's horse, dog, beef, chicken, fish no one can say how terrible it is unless they are a pure vegetarian. Killing animals is necessary to feed the human race.
Is it a part of the Chinese culture to eat babies...no. Are babies the same as dogs...no.
I think that there are some moral standards. Such as human sacrafice, cannabalism, and rape...as a few examples. However, eating dog is not nearly on par to these things.
I've been South Korea and I ate dog.. I forgot what it was called, but it was expensive and served in a restaurant. I don't see what the big deal is. It was just another piece of meat to me. Different strokes for different folks.

How can we claim these creatures to be man's best friend when we leave them to be tortured in ways that are so brutal we couldn't even think of them if we tried? Skinned and boiled alive, hung from the ceiling with hooks in their mouths and their broken legs tied behind their backs to be beaten to death and other such cruelties that are simply too incomprehensible to wrap your head around.
If you made it through both videos than you're a braver man than I am, if you want to call it that. We should write the Chinese ambassador, support Animals Asia or the WSPA, but most importantly, stop doing business with the savages that allow these things to go on in their country. Humanity is sick and depraved, both for perpetuating this cruelty and for allowing it to happen.
