One of the biggest social campaigns for animal welfare ever — the "Stop Killing Dogs" online petition at Stop Killing Dogs - the petition to stop brutal dog torture and dog meat consumption in South Korea - is part of the World Animal Day programme and has already gathered 250,000 signatures world wide.

Over 2,000,000 dogs are raised and killed for food in dog farms in South Korea every year

I will probably get chewed out for this but if they eat dog meat they eat dog meat.
I would never eat is because I keep one as a pet.
If I ever saw one from a bunch of vegetarians about cows and how they're mistreated I would think "nutjob" and close the link.

Let Them Eat Dog Meat. They will regret it because dog meat is very HEATY for humans. If they eat too much they might get a high fever. They WILL regret to eat dog meat. I WOULD NEVER EAT DOG MEAT IN MY LIFE. I own 1 dog name Ebony and i love it very much. And not only korea does these stuff. Vietnam also eat dog meat.

Big deal. We eat cows, pigs, chickens, etc. It's no different. Unless one is a vegan it's pretty hypocritical to complain.

Check my sig line.
But objecting to eating any one animal if Ok with eating another is just an emotional thing, not a valid concern.

In many countries horse meat is also eaten. During WWI and WWII it was common here and abroad.

Police: Case Not Related To Horse Killings

POSTED: Wednesday, October 7, 2009
UPDATED: 4:26 am EDT October 8, 2009
MIAMI -- Police in Miami arrested two men Wednesday who were allegedly selling horse meat for human consumption.

"In the United States, horses are not raised to enter our food chain. They're raised as pets," Richard Couto of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals told Local 10's Janine Stanwood.

But in Florida, selling horse meat for food is legal, as long as it's stamped and approved for human consumption.

Most human consumption of horsemeat takes place in Italy, Japan, France and Belgium, where it is considered a culinary delicacy. Ferdinand, winner of the 1986 Kentucky Derby, was slaughtered in Japan in in 2002.

We need to stop telling other countries what to do.

Wouldn't guinea pigs be a better alternative?
They breed faster, take up less room, have more meat per pound, have less poop, and ANYTHING smells better than a dog.
