It is simply because people equate FOX with Republican party and when they watch FOX they get the impression that both FOX and "R" party are a bunch of conspiracy theorists who hope that American will fail.

So, FOX's over-eager support for Republicans delivers the party the "kiss of Judas". They mean well, but they are causing them more harm that good.

Shhhh!

Don't tell anyone but these wingers think their poll numbers are low because they are not being "conservative" enough.

They think they need to move to the right....lol
They do need to move right away from big gov

Gallup has found that more Americans identify themselves as conservatives than those who call themselves moderate or liberal.

Don't fret, the left has their share of crazies as well, and some even give hour long op eds on national TV.
But what about the crazy left? Those folks that think Obama is the saviour of all man kind, the prophet, the annointed one, the big daddy,
the pimp, Mr. Money bags, what about all those lefty fruit cake type people that think Obama will solve all their problems if only they believe in his CHANGE?

Was the election of 0bama your first clue, or did it take a CNN poll?

Self-evident to me. Any Republican that aligns themselves with the far-right Fox News types will not win an election....especially the Presidency. The quicker the Republican party distances itself from Fox News/Rush/Hannity/Beck, the better off they will be.

The majority of the American people are within tolerance of the middle. Unfortunately, the Republican party has moved so far right that normal conservatives (i.e. Regan Republicans) have no choice but to vote Democrat or third party.

well, i dont see why calling Obama a socialist is so bad. it is accurate. Why do liberals run away from what they are?

There is nothing crazy about saying that. it is what it is.

A rose by any other name....

Fox doesnt ally itself with the Republican party.

There is no question about the editorial aspect of Fox being conservative but that doesnt mean Republican.

If anything, fox is having an impact because more people than ever call themselves Conservative.

Without getting into defining what constitutes "socialist", it isn't even so much that this term was used as it was used in conjunction with every other negative term (in the eyes of Americans) that could be hatched. I mean the depictions of Obama as Hitler are not only unreasonable and extreme, they also diminish the acts that Hitler committed.

There are countless reasons, policies, and positions one can be critical of Obama for, but when we use such extreme means to do so, it also detracts from reasonable criticism because reasoned criticism gets buried amid the crazy. Once the extreme examples are made to look stupid and foolish as they often are, then the entire argument is made to look a little less credible.

Can quote one post from a lefty where he/she calls him 'savior' or 'prophet' or 'annointed one'?

I ask, because I have NEVER seen a 'lefty' say that. I have only see the 'crazy right' use those names.
