Damm right it's a ruse and a damm good one at that. You who are against health care reform can go back to your constituints and tell them they can't have an affordable public option. Then watch them mount your head on a pike. You have the option to opt out. It's not enough for you that you don't have to have it. You want to deny everyone the path to affordable health care. A brilliant political strategy from the dems, as best as I can tell.
