And some people posting on CD don't think anyone is paying attention to their posts.

I think the correct statement should be is there nothing that he can do WRONG in the eyes of his sheep.
Perhaps you can give one, just one, example of you giving him "credit". Maybe you meant you loaned him money to buy a car, or something.

How do you think he should have handled it?
And if he had not gone on with his tribute to the Native Americans, the RW would be criticizing him for that! e.g. "what could he do about that mess in Ft. Hood, anyway? "He dissed these Native Americans", etc.

It disturbs me that so many knew he was bad news and no action was taken. Worse still they had this lunatic treating soldiers.
And most likely they allowed him to continue on simply because he was a Muslim. Would a Catholic proclaiming the Vatican should destroy the USA be promoted? Would a Bible thumper speaking of his open hate of America be promoted? This guy was not even a good doctor but was given a good position because????

More info is coming out about Major Hasan. He was a member of Obama's Homeland Security Policy Institute Presidential Transition Task Force and his name is listed on page 29 of this report. http://www.gwumc.edu/hspi/old/PTTF_ProceedingsReport_05.19.09.pdf (broken link)
Considering this task force was formed in April of 2008, it's not "Obama's" Presidential Transition Task Force... and he was not a member. But hey, just repeat things you read on FR or WND without checking into them, k?

WorldNetDaily falsely claimed that alleged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan "advised Obama transition" in the headline of an article by Jerome Corsi highlighting his listing as a "participant" in a report for the Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) at George Washington University's Presidential Transition Task Force. However, Corsi himself acknowledges that there is no evidence that "the group played any formal role in the official Obama transition" -- indeed, the Task Force was initiated in April 2008. Moreover, while Hasan was listed as one of approximately 300 "Task Force Event Participants" in the report's appendix, HSPI has reportedly said he was not a "member" of the Task Force, and was listed because he RSVP'd for several of the group's open events.
Quote:
FRIDAY MORNING UPDATE: Daniel Kaniewski, the institute's deputy director, confirms that Hasan attended task force meetings as an audience member, and stresses that he was not a member of the task force. "All of our events are open to the public," Kaniewski says, "and when someone RSVPs we put their name in the [report] so everyone knows who was in the room." He says institute staffers recall Hasan attending at least one task force event, and that he RSVP'd for several. "We do recall him speaking at one of our events as an audience member," he says, "but none of us recall what he actually said. Generally, our events are attended by people in the homeland security community, and Hasan had a very legitimate reason to be there. He was a fellow at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences."

As i said in the other thread, how would people react if the Principal of Columbine had said the follow immediately after the shootings:

"First, i want to congratulate Billy Holcomb on winning the national merit award, and the football coach is here, great job coach, now, about the shootings..."

How would you react if your place of work had been shot up and the president of the company said:

"Congratulations on a terrific second quarter, Bob Smith is here, he sold 10,000 units last month, great job Bob. Now, these terrible shootings we had..."

What a stomach churning statement you make when dare to assume that Bush did not deserve any of the bashing that he has received. Demise you say? We had a criminal administration bring this country to its knees and then just ride off into the sunset without a thought to the devestation they had left behind!
You really need to see a doctor for your incredible case of BDS.

A lot like many of the Muslim suicide bombers -- that is what Muslim terrorism is about. They don't build up armies and navies to defeat their enemies, they commit acts just like this or blowing up innocent students in sidewalk cafes in Israel.
