With cap & trade taxes will go up and people will have even less money to spend.

Health care is going to cost every family so much more and small business owners are scared to death to hire any one with the thread of having all these hidden fees and taxes raised on them...that isn't creating jobs!

Officially were at 15.3% here in Michigan, but it's way higher. Thing is cutting taxes or even a payroll tax holiday, what works, is off the table because Democrats just don't cut taxes like that. Well, at least not these Democrats.

Well it is a jobless recovery afterall. Do you expect the Obama's to give up lobster for lunch just because we are losing jobs daily. The good new is always a hoot when the anchor says "well we lost jobs at a slower rate." How stupid are we? Very stupid.

unemployment will go down when peoples disposable income goes up.

disposable income goes up when taxes go down.

unfortunatley, we have a president that is using Russia/Cuba style polices of increasing government and increasing taxes.

unemployment will continue to rise with these polices (just as they had in Russia/Cuba/China/Poland)

Bush did well to prove that tax cuts don't create jobs.

Yesterday they were stating the rate of people losing a job is back to Jan. '09....it is still over half a million people who lost their job!

Does half a million people sound more than 502.000!

What about people who still have a job but salary cuts or hour cuts, which result in the same! What about people going to their job today or next week, scared to death they will be one of the people getting a pink slip?

Freddie & Fanny are now going into the rental business...so Obama is now owning the car industry, the rental industry and soon if it is up to him the health care industry....and he never run one business and can't decide on sending troops or not! We need to stop this man....he is our downfall and we need to cut taxes to create jobs! Raising taxes never created one job!

1. Unemployment hasn't been in double digits since America's big hero, Ronald Reagan, was President.
2. For all those who despise Obama and want to see him fail, they should be rejoicing every time the unemployment number goes up.

Nothing new where I'm at.

Michigan unemployment is currently at 15.2%. Ann Arbor is the lowest in the state at over 10%.

Detroit unemployment is a staggering 28.9%.

People need to get back to work. He needs to keep his butt in dc in the oval office and figure something out.
He will never be able to find a solution because then he would have to feed the rest of the porkulus money into where it should have gone in the first place, the private sector to really create jobs. In order to do that, he would have to completely give up his ideological beliefs..which he will never do. So get ready for more porkulus and big government solutions. Until we can kick their butts out next year, we will just have to hold our heads and take plenty of aspirin.
