Harry Reid has wet dreams about Nancy Polesi...

What politician can "lead." To me this is just fantasy that you and many misguided people have about politicians. All politicians want to get re-elected. That is the fundamental force that drives their decisions. All of the politicians hedge their decisions and play to party lines...all of them do it. You can criticize Harry Reid but I guarantee you the person who fills his shoes will do the same thing.

Look at Obama. The guy ran on an anti-war campaign and promised to withdraw 20,000 troops from Iraq by August. He promised to close GITMO. Again, Obama is concerned with being re-elected. He doesn't want to convey that he is soft on terrorism. He is pandering to conservatives so that he gets re-elected in 2012.

All politicians do this. Learn this now

Pelosi ,also, looks that way.

Pelosi, lurking in an alley, would scare/shock me more than Reid.

That would make Robert Byrd, who has been in office for over 50 years, the Senate Majority Leader, not Harry Reid, who has been in office a mere 22 years.

Harry Reid couldn't pass a bill with 80 votes, and Max Baucus should be primaried.
Every time I look at the Senate I see the need to repeal the 17th Amendment
