David Koresh, Jim Jones, Manson, it is amazing how many weak minded people there are just looking to follow someone, anyone. People panicked over Y2K, they believe in 2012 the world will end, UFO's, aliens you name it and it can be sold to the simple minded. Now the Tea Parties. These are nothing more then people making a buck off these poor suckers. They set up offices, put themselves on payrolls and get these poor idiots who they scare with lies to give them money. If you can't get rich in this country you aren't trying. The average American is a moron.
These Tea Party people are really the bottom of the barrel, what a bunch of dupes, fools and suckers. Just for the fun of it get on one of their mailing list and watch the repeated requests for money. They are exactly what they pretend to be against. Just another money making scam aimed at the lowest common denominator and easiest to fool.
By the way, my comments have nothing to do with politics. All I see is fools, maybe well intentioned fools but fools never the less, being manipulated by people for their own selfish ends to make a buck, nothing else. Most of these idiots by the way, will in no time be chasing the next fad or tail gate party. They have no real convictions, but that is exactly what the organizers are looking for. Not people who think on their own, followers. Hay, I can't fault them, they sold the public platform shoes, get rich quick schemes, weight loss scams.

You've got it. The current Tea partiers need to read some books to find out what the Boston Tea Party was really about.

And yes, I say nuts. They ran someone on the "Conservative Party" ticket in New York, and an area that is traditionally Republican went to the Democrats. Yeah, good job.
Congratulations to the new Tea Party Party. I hope they do well. Like 5% of the electorate, well. I hope they run their own candidate and they all vote for him or her. It will send a clear message to those RINOs and moderate republicans who have destroyed the Republican Party.

I think this is a positive thing for Florida. If we can take back our state from the two-headed corrupt party it could revive Florida's economy. Hopefully the mainstream elite are not going to convince the sheeple that the "Tea Party" is not just a group of nuts to be ridiculed.

Im a little bit astonded at your attitude here. It is pretty recognized by people on both sides of the political aisle that a viable third party would be a benefit all the way around.
So what happens when people (Tea Party goers are not just republicans by the way) form a third party? You play partisan and start laughing about how it is going to split up the republican party. You are more interested in playing red vs. blue than realizing that the effort would benefit everybody.
I sure wish more democrats who are tired of the same old politics in DC would have the courage to stand up and demand a viable and more desirable option than what we currently have.

Where were these people in 2003-06 when RE taxes were out of control as local municipalities spending went ballistic, folks were going into debt slavery with mortgages they could never afford, the 'war on terror' became something else and we ran record budget defecits in suppossed boom times where everyone owning a piece of a business or RE was getting rich? The trillions by now have already been spent and the citizens are worn out, demoralized and broke. The gov't in late 2008-early 2009 did it's best to avoid another great depression and had no choice but unleash every weapon at it's disposal and learned the lessons to do the opposite of Hoover and the GOP in 1930. The ramifications of much higher inflation perhaps many years down the road have yet to be felt and the federal gov't as well as banks get a free pass for now. Those consumers and small businesses with great credit can borrow at record low interest rates courtesy of our gov't intrusion and deflationary forces. Asset prices are depressed and now is a great time to be buying up those assets and creating value. Those that look forward succeed in the new world order those that don't.......well you know the rest of that story..
The problem with your post is your inability to differentiate between private wealth and the public dole.
