Pelosi: We are the most ethical Congress - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

Pelosi: We are the most ethical Congress

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday said that she is running the most ethical Congress in history.

Asked at a press conference about her promise to run the most ethical Congress in the wake of new findings that Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) broke House rules, Pelosi interjected, "We are."

But Pelosi dodged on whether she would discipline Rangel, who helms the powerful Ways and Means Committee.

After Democrats reclaimed the majority in the House of Representatives in 2006, Pelosi, who at the time was poised to become speaker, said "the Democrats intend to lead the most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in history."

Pelosi is such a piece of garbage. She really needs to take her less than 20% approval, angry, hateful, lying self back to the one place where she is wanted... San Francisco.... and leave the rest of us Americans alone

The sad thing is she probably believes her own lies. Most pathological liars do.

I'd say they are the least ethical and could possibly vie for the #1 spot for biggest pork spender Congress.

This is the same congress that said
"we can do better than Republican led Congress that ran up trillions in debt"
"passed a budget that restores fiscal discipline"
"reverses six years of fiscal mismanagement"
"leads to balance and actual surplus" (claimed balanced budget and a $40B surplus by 2012)

A sociopath can lie with conviction and expect to be believed.

You should consider that if Pelosi ever told the truth, she would melt like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.
