Rasmussen is reporting today that John McCain is within 2 percentage points of a possible GOP primary challenger, JD Hayworth. Hayworth, who hasn't said he's running, is a former U.S. congressman and who now has a radio talk show in Phoenix.

Oh yeah, and he's a conservative.

So maybe 2010 is shaping up to be a bloodbath of well-known incumbents.

Good. McCain is a RINO and it's time for him to go.

I say it's time to clean both sides of the aisle. Kick out all these no loaders who have been there forever. New blood infusion.

It would be a welcome change to see all incumbents get the boot. It might send a wake up call to DC. You can get fired after all.

Greeting's,

A most valid point by cobolt ...... When is enough enough ???

The "Career Politician" with 30 years of service in the Congress or Senate should absolutely face mandatory retirement !!!

These folks should in no wise assume that they will spend the rest of their lives in these vitally important positions !
"Term Limits" ..... Yes Mandatory "Term Limits" ..... Are the answer to this "American Political Dilemma" !

The American People Deserve so much better !!!

Thanks / Lamar

Generally i'm all about firing every incumbant. However, i've softened that stance given we see how inexperience (ie. Obama) can get us in bigger trouble.

How many RINOs are left in the Republican Party? Are the right wing conservatives still calling right wing conservative Sen. Graham a RINO?

Point well taken. Just as there is an attempt to "throw the baby out with the bath water" with healthcare reform not all incuments are bad. Each needs to be evaluated by his/her voting record, ethics, and willingness to stand strong to the Constitution while holding the feet of fellow party member to the fire for the same standard.

Like any in any profession, some politicians rise to the top like cream that needs to be saved; while others just curdle like sour milk and stink everything up for everyone else.
