Less. Government should operate within the bounds and authority granted to it as described in the Constitution.

As much as needed. Government is not some kind of candy, its organization of people. No one likes it when they need to pay for it, but everyone expects it when they get what they (refuse to) pay for.

Roads, police, jails, courts, firefighters, emergency responses, all are things that people get angry when it doesnt work to their expectations, yet no one wants to pay the taxes to fund them. People are too greedy and self centered.

The Constitution? Get back to us when most Americans can describe it in full detail! Just like the "tea baggers" who jump on the "I hate the Government" bandwagon. Don't like the Government? Let's get rid of Social Security and the military!

tindo agreed!

Because I could simply go out and shoot, kill, rape, burn peoples homes down, acquire massive amounts of military weapons and install my own government. Without government you have anarchy, no police, no fire, no roads or nearly everything that society relies upon to survive.

I agree with this, but I am willing to pay for these things, plus more if needed. Like health care and education.
