Yes ... and Bush was SUPPOSED to take over that task when he became president.

Instead, Bush ignored Al Qaeda for the first 9 months of his presidency.

Just ask Bush's chief of terrorism, Richard A. Clarke.

YES!

Either you want Obama to protect this country ... or you don't.
You can't have it both ways.
True statement.

Obama is trying to finish a war which Bush started, and Bush then essentially ignored for 7 years, while he wasted our military resources in Iraq!

So unless you are personally sitting inside the White House, you have absolutely no idea of what challenges Obama is faced with.
Exact same thing CAN be said of Bush and EVERY other POTUS.
What makes Obama so special?
His inexperience?
Race?
BOTH?

Politically, Obama is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
AGAIN.....every other president probably has felt the SAME way.

The same group that is yelling at Obama to keep us safe at home, is also yelling at Obama to stop fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
THIS sounds VERY familiar from the left while Bush was in office too.
Difference is?
Oh yeah......I mentioned that above.

What exactly is Obama supposed to do?[/

The EXACT opposite of what he has.....would probably work a LOT better!

I have always fully supported our war in Afghanistan. It is a just war, we have reason to be there, and we have to win that fight.

Iraq was a totally different animal.

Well, good.
Now you have THIS POTUS to take on this particular "animal."

Let me know when we "win" this fight too, because I would sure like to know WHAT defines a victory, exactly.
