The White House and the leftist activists would have you believe that a majority of Americans want government run health care. But it is becoming increasingly clear that this is a lie.
If there ever was an "AstroTurf" campaign, the campaign for government health care is it. Who is funding it?
Leftist billionaires and Union bosses, and even ACORN are involved in this effort to scam Americans.
HCAN, billed as a "grass-roots" coalition (not) is headquartered at 1825 K Street in Washington, D.C., where other residents, big money allies of the Democrat Party, include the unions, SEIU (Service Employees International Union, which is an ACORN affiliate), and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, as well as MoveOn, funded by sugar daddy of all sugar daddys, George Soros. Money from these organizations allow groups like HCAN to mount huge campaigns without as much as a dime from real "grass-roots" Americans. It's a scam to end all scams. In fact, MoveOn is part of the HCAN coalition, as well as the Center for American Progress (a Soros think tank) and the Campaign for America's Future, a pro-welfare state organization.
It is reported that HCAN has a $40 million budget. $10 Million of that is from Bermuda based Atlantic Philanthropies, which is fronted by a Soros follower Gara LaMarche.
Other donors to HCAN include Herb and Marion Sandler, left wingers who made billions selling sub-prime mortgages, and who also helped Soros fund his network of left-wing activist satellite organizations.
Peter Lewis, of Progressive Insurance, is another contributor to HCAN. Lewis's youth group, "Progressive Future", has enlisted countless young volunteers and armed them with literature to bash Fox News and Rush Limbaugh and to try to drum up support for Obamacare.
HCAN and ACORN are both linked through Drummund Pike, who heads the non-profit Tides Foundation/Tides Center. The Tides Center has funded some of the most radical leftist organizations for decades, including the Council for American-Islamic Relations, CAIR.
Pike is the man who bailed out ACORN founder Wade Rathke's brother Dale, after he embezzled nearly $1 million. Rathke sits on the Tides Foundation board of directors.
Is it any wonder that the recent government bailouts (designed in large part by some of Obama's radical leftist advisors) included millions of dollars for ACORN? All under the watchful eye of our Democrat leaders in Congress, Pelosi and Reid.
These are the players behind Obamacare. It is clear that there is no groundswell of any "grass-roots" citizens organizations that are pushing for government health care. More and more polls are showing that the vast majority of Americans want the government to stay out of their private health care, and health decisions.
We must keep fighting this battle. We are currently winning. Do not stop what you are doing. It is a battle that simply must be won to save America from the Progressive takeover of our country.
Remember Obama and all those wackos behind him work FOR US!
We know that but I don't think HE knows that and I surely know he doesn't care! LOL
Remember when he arrogantly stood countless times and informed us " I won" and that was in response to Republicans trying to stop him from his spending spree. So we know he will do as he pleases.

The citizens of this country are NOT winning anything. The only "winners" of this whole propoganda campaign are the private insurance companies, pharmacuetical companies, and lobbyists who have paid big money to keep the status quo. That is ALL that it is, and nothing more. Again, this has nothing to do with "progressive take-over".
All the citizens of the United States of America are getting screwed by keeping the status quo (which is letting private insurance companies run amok, letting them operate like a monopoly, letting them continue their discriminatory and predatory practices), and we are somehow supposed to applaud this criminal behavior and encourage it and feel "good" about it.

What we would applaud is for the government to enact legislation that would change those things, not to take them over for itslef.
