Like an unfortunately large percentage of Americans, a New Jersey mother lost her job in 2006. Unlike other Americans, she made no effort to find a job, instead expecting God to supply for her five kids. Yesterday, three of the children of 50-year-old Estelle Walker testified against her for starving them for approximately three months.

Maybe Palin's strategy of relying on God to magically fix everything is a bad idea.

Sorry but no,

whether you believe in God or not, there are devices here on Earth to make do with.

A Christian should know that you don't sit around and wait to be fed i.e.: (man must till the land to eat)

I hope it's not true, but unfortunately we've seen this before with the parents who had the cancer-stricken child.: instead of waiting for God to heal your cancer, why not go to the doc, and pray to God for good results???

Somewhere, there is someone saying, "God answered her prayers, the children didn't starve, and now they are being taken care of."

Very true the thread title should have been, Jon Corzine (Democrat) killing children in New Jersey. It is equally accurate.
