TALLAHASSEE — The Sons of Confederate Veterans is trumpeting a federal judge's ruling as a major victory in its efforts to get the rebel battle flag on a specialty license plate in Florida.
The group filed a lawsuit in January against the state and the Legislature after lawmakers refused to take action for two years on its application for a "Confederate Heritage" plate.
Good for them, it's part of the south and their heritage. No problems.
Um....name calling? Were you referring to me when I said their "'heritage' as being losers"? If so, that's not name calling. Now, if I called them "losers", that would be name-calling. But I didn't do that. I said ""hetigage' of being losers". I didn't think I needed to add "of a war" but maybe I should have because it appears you needed it to grasp the full understanding of what I was talking about. Has it come to the point where the word "loser" is automatically deemed to be name-calling rather than taken at face value to mean "the people who lost"?
So is genocide against the native Americans. And lynchings. Wanna celebrate those, too?
I thought the American Indian problem and the 'western justice' i.e. lynchings was mostly going on out west. Never heard about the American Indian problem in the old south. Are you talking about the 1600's?
