You know, some mornings you wake up, read the news and say, eh, I'll look at the other C-D forums for a change.

This mornig we have the Obama administration predicting a $30 Billion Dollar loss on the auto bailout. Jeez, who would have thunk it? Let's just let them manage and distribute more of our taxpayer money.

"The Obama administration will tell Congress Wednesday that it expects to lose about $30 billion of the $82 billion government bailout of the auto industry. Gene Sperling, senior counsel to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, confirmed in an interview late today that the administration's forecast is that it will lose $30 billion on its auto investments -- but that's down from an earlier estimate of $44 billion."

Oh goody, ONLY $30 billion not $44 billion.

Then there's Harry Reid, feeling his oats because the polls in Nevada show him soaring to victory in 2010...oh wait a minute, that's not it. He's trailing his two possible Republican opponents and has a low approval rating. Well then it must be all of the support he's getting from public on his healthcare reform...oh, wait a minute that's not it, either. Only 41 percent approve, 51 percent disapprove. Oh wait, it turns out he's emboldened by Senate Democrat support for his OBVIOUS comparison: his healthcare plan opposition to abolition of slavery opposition. Yeah, you go, Harry. Way to go on those Bidenesque remarks. Hey Harry, I'm enamored of your history lesson. May I say that listening to you reminds me of the Spanish Inquisition?

Then there's all of that stimulus money that's not stimulating. Being familiar with "the mall where no one shops for lack of stores in it" in question, in this story, may I say spending your tax dollars is like pissing in the wind.

And we're supposed to get all hot and bothered over Tiger Woods' marital problems?
