What I dont understand is that the same people who now scream that a couple of emails make something fake, have no problem going to church each week and dancing around believing in talking snakes. What a stupid country. No wonder the world thinks we are nuts.

The amount of money the AGW alarmists have received from governments and NGO's to keep the research (hoax) going dwarfs the other side.

Just look at only two of the fear mongers Jones and Mann - approx $28 MILLION between them.

A must watch, especially for the new deniers - this is exactly how they sound.

When you have science on your side, it's not "belief." Only the deniers are believers.

That is the wonderful thing about science. It doesn't require belief, it requires a tested hypothesis which produces a consistency of results and properly explains any divergence from its method.

See? We don't need to even consider the political position, the science is all that matters. So your speculations are a waste because the important factors are the science, not your assumed belief of what may or may not be.

It is not a "couple of e-mails". It is:

1. Thousands of e-mails that correlate to public statements and events to which explain the behavior of their public responses. These are supplemental verification.

2. Word files, spread sheets, and similar files which show the money involved, problems with their data records, and various other evidence that verifies issues and concerns made in public.

3. Code files with comments that discuss manipulation and code that actually runs and does the manipulations. (The meat of the issue)

It isn't simply "a couple of emails", this is the garbage being spun in the media. A large portion of the media is uninformed on this issue. Why? Who knows, either they are choosing to be (which means they are acting unethically because they have an agenda) or they are simply incompetent.

The problem here is that those who know what is going on have been following the issue for years. They have seen the behaviors of these scientists, the refusals for requests, the numerous flawed papers being published without proper review and violating policy for publishing. The constant attacks and fallacious positions by these researchers and organizations when questioned concerning the flaws in their work.

Look back through this thread. I have a post concerning the IPCC's issues that go back to 2005. Everything from accepting flawed research, poor policy and procedure, lack of due diligence, to straight out political antics. All documented and the emails along with all of the data confirm them.

You can go through the emails and correlate each issue and see what these researchers were saying and doing behind closed doors when the issues were brought up. It isn't simply "out of context" as all of the context can be provided. Only those being devious or ignorant claim otherwise. Not to mention, all of the so called "evidence" that supposedly supports the claim that this is a non-issue is provided by the very people who are implicated.

Which brings us to the issue of your claim. People who believe in religions realize it is based on faith, that it is not a quantifiable claim.

This issue is measurable, and yet your defense is to believe the "word" of these researchers without ANY evidence that properly validates them.

Your display of such faith is exactly what you are complaining about. You see, you are running off to the desert following the unfounded claims of your leaders who have prepared a sugary colored drink for you. Your position is that of ignorance which places its faith in appeals to authority.

Funny, this is what the duped dunce in the video keeps saying. She has faith, she just believes, she listens to and reads only those sources that are engaging in fear mongering, she is astounded as he enlightens her to the facts.

This woman could be replaced with any of the deniers on this board and you would get the same answers.

They only believe what they have been told, they never bother to go and look the information up for themselves and they have complete faith in those who bamboozling them.

Did you watch the video - or are you too afraid that you might see yourself?

Ah, THERE he is. Lord Monckton. I knew it was coming. Beyond Christopher Booker. Even more ridiculous than Willis Eschenbach. We've reached rock-bottom at last...

A large portion of the media is uninformed on every issue. There are only a few among them who understand even the topics that they are assigned to report about. They aren't paid to dig and delve. They are paid to get a passable 300 words done up on deadline. Of more interest is the lack of full and honest reporting going on in this thread and others like it. The fraud, the fakery, the degrees of exaggeration and misrepresentation. The perversion of actual science and analysis and the elevation of faux science and analysis are more troublesome things from a local perspective. The world at large has been busy ignoring this latest round of trumped up tripe. Good on them all for it, but not so much on those manipulating diehards still active here...
