It will backfire. Then they'll be paying people to have babies because they will have aborted so many that their aren't enough tax payers to support all the social programs and DCs quality of life. Oh what a tangled web we weave.
The reason why it hasn't passed yet is because MODERATE Democrats know that their constituents aren't behind it.

Of course not. We'll take a few for the team. Liberals have abortions at twice the rate of us. At least according to the last definitive study I read.
I think that if the Republicans keep blocking things like health care lets take the fight to their door step. Lets go for a new assault weapons ban, Legalize marijuana, Lets take the fight to them. Lets do a federal law legalizing gay marriage, Lets set up a non profit abortion clinics with federal money, lets give them something to whine about. Republicans are like the little brat that cries over nothing and we need to be the parent that says I will give you something to cry over.
While your at it, take the Constitution of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA and wipe your butt.
