Choice? What choice? We are being forced to buy insurance. We won't be able to buy the insurance that suits us the best; and we get to pay more for it.

Just freakin great.

Those paying for their own not only have to pay the higher price for the goods and services they buy from those employers whose cost is often $10,000/year/employee, they have to buy their own insurance too.

What ever happened to personal responsibility? Time to end employer paid insurance programs. Just ban them outright. No more freeloading on the consumer.
That's the liberals' answer to all our problems: use the power of government to coerce people to do what they want them to do. Scratch a liberal and you'll find underneath a totalitarian. Case in point: Anita Dunn (Obama's Director of Communications) admitting her admiration for the ideas of Mao.

The winners: Obama, Pelosi, Reid etc. who would have sold out their own mothers for one purpose alone..... victory for them only

The losers: The Liberals who wanted single payer or at least public option and conservatives who wanted govt out of healthcare. Basically 90+ % of Americans

And now we know why there was such a big uproar about reading the bill out loud.
That's right..blame the Repubs for stalling.

Who is to blame for all the pork and special favors for states ?
Anything to get a vote..anything.

Excuse me? Do you just type the same old drivel in response every time you believe a liberal is posting? How does that apply to what I'm saying? Are you a supporter of mandatory insurance coverage? I'm not. But if those self-serving buffoons in Washington mandate that every be insured then the playing field should be level and everyone should have to pay for his own insurance, not some pay their own and some foist the expense onto others, most unfairly onto the people who are forced to pay for their entire insurance cost themselves.

What about the millions of people both the House and the Senate bills will be leaving still uninsured....depending upon which bill, it's either 18 or 23 million....that's roughly half of the 45 million that the reform was suppose to help. On top of that, many of those people will have to pay penalties even though they can't afford to buy coverage. Here's a link that gives examples of how the House bill would do that:

Does the House really want to raise taxes on eight million uninsured people?**|**KeithHennessey.com
