Honey, more taxpayer money goes to the stockholders of various big businesses than to little places like ACORN..... Did in the Bush years, does now.

What is so conspicuous to me in this thread is the absence of any comment about the "carbon footprint" (a ridiculous term that I despise, but is dead serious to "climate change" alarmists) left by Air Force One for the trip. Now, I don't have the inclination to read through all 22 pages, but I scanned about a third of them and found nothing. It's very possible that I missed something in the middle somewhere.

I have no issue whatsoever with the President's trip, but you'd think that the global warming chicken littles would....IF they truly believed the BS they shovel on that issue and weren't the hypocrite extremist ideologues we know them to be.

Pelosi uses a large AF plane to run back and forth to SF; what about her carbon footprint?

Yes, and ALL Senators and congressman, Republicans and Democrats , and business people and vacationers use planes to fly back and forth to work and play.....great point!!!

And has nothing to do with the topic.

I don't think people who care about the environment expect the world to stop.....and most have offered alternatives unlike righties who just don't give a damn except to whine about others.
