I feel that America is a "far cry" from what our forefathers envisioned all those centuries ago. "A Government for the People by the People" were is that now? Bush and now Obama have taken away such a notion. Do we americans just stand idoly by while our constitutional freedoms are stripped slowly but surely everyday? Do we just allow this to be done to us? Our forefathers could not stand for the steady increses in taxes and they took this land from a greedy and mighty empire that controlled it from afar. Why I ask should we stand for these injustices that are inflicted upon us by a greedy government and its alliance not with the people but with the corperations? I ask why not rebel and take back America and restore her to her once mighty status. This need not be a battle of guns and blood, but, of numbers and persistence. Of, flags and voices raised high in the shout of "Freedom" ever louder. So I bid you rise up America of fall forever. So I ask you do we need a Revolution? of blood and guns? Or Voices?

Absolutely, positively NOT. This constant barrage of practically insane, cringe-inducing, traitorous and hateful type of rhetoric coming from the far-right fringe is getting out of control. I'm really tired of hearing these wild accusations, these outright lies being used to justify threatened violence. None of these people can explain how the Constitution is supposedly being trampled (because, well, it isn't) nor do they seem to have any understanding of the political history of our Republic. Furthermore, the vast majority of these people are incredibly ignorant and uneducated regarding the issues they are crying about; it's unbelievable. I don't even know where to begin in dealing with such people, their understanding of politics and economics is so distorted, so terribly lacking as to require years of education to even begin to remedy.

I'm pretty thoroughly disgusted.

Of course we do. We do it with our vote. Anyone that does not get out and vote has no right to complain much. Why do you think the 'Tea Party' is forming? We are sick of the liars and politics as usual.

You know the most amazing part of all of this? The people who are screaming bloody murder right now, who are traitorously calling for revolution, who are referring to the President with horrible, hateful rhetoric are, by and large, the same people who 6 years ago were calling anyone who didn't blindly follow George W. Bush unamerican traitors. The irony would be funny if they weren't serious and if they could see the hypocrisy.

Funny I bet you weren't saying that when Bush had the NSA listening in on your phone conversations?
