Steele admits that Republicans have been screwing up for over 20 years (Congress, interview)

In a TV interview Monday, Steele said the party won't be regaining control of Congress in the mid-term elections this year. And if there's a reason for that, it's that the Republicans "screwed up" after Ronald Reagan left office.

"Won't win in 2010" is terribly misleading.

The Power of 41 is all it takes to stop the runaway Democratic locomotive. It's a safe bet that Republicans will pick up at least one seat in 2010.

Last time I checked, "Joe" was not running the Democratic Party.

No offense to Joe, but the reality is that his opinion and views regarding what's going on in the Democratic Party are totally insignificant compared to Steele's views and opinions in re Republicans.

Twenty years ago is about the time the Evangelical Christians got a hold of the Republican party and they got away from being the party for fiscal conservationism and instead became the party of social conservationism.

You seem to have all the answers in every post in this forum.

If you cannot see that this group has damaged this country then you have to learn to open your eyes a bit.

Look around you, record foreclosures, bankruptcies, loss of jobs, homeless and the list goes on and on.

With a stack of blank checks, total control of the country the party in power has been an utter failure.

If you cannot see what they have done then you really need to do some better research and get out of the house.

Being as smart as you think you are maybe you will open your eyes to see what your party is doing to this country.

Not a biggies, liberalism is on its way out the door anyway. The American people are going to give the liberals the boot and Obama will be the first in line.
