The AGW crowd has done a great job of welding "human activity" to "climate change" hasn't it?

Weather or not the two are connected. My fear is that the AGW scientists will decide to deliberately monkey with the climate to "correct the damage we have done" and really mess up the ebb and flow of the warming and cooling.

There's also the tax angle...but if the AGW crowd feels guilty they can contribute all the money they wish to the brokers in charge. Dunno where they will spend it to fix the climate, maybe on more private jets?

I'll lay you odds that by the time the AGW cultists are done "adjusting" the data, this will be the warmest winter on record.

It's the same mystery that occurs every other time people who don't have the slightest clue refuse to accept that things could ever be that complicated.

nope.
Yes they are, they need to change their tune. They need to stop saying it isn't happening and start saying it is a good idea.
Okay, what on Earth makes you think it's a good idea when every serious scientific study on the matter says it isn't?

Is this the new pro-oil talking point?

It's not the newest talking point at all.
It's one of the more absurd ones, however.

A tip for you: Learn something about the science and the evidence before dismissing it so casually.
I am not worried about the climate because I can't do anything to stop it. Neither can you or anyone else.

Saying that the climate has been changing for hundreds of millions of years is not naive at all... it's a fact. Something you should read more about! Your claim about the climate being different now due to human activities is just that... a claim, not fact.

I have been reading and learning about science since the mid-1970s...

^Reading books isn't the same as understanding them OR the issue.

Nobody is claiming that climate doesn't change.

One of the most basic errors that deniers always make is that science-believers don't accept that climate changes naturally.

It has to stop.

Follow the money. The alarmists fall into two camps; Those that are making a fortune from the hoax and those who are too dumb to make a fortune from the hoax.

Bingo.

Cult followers are just pathetic. The leaders are fraudsters stealing taxpayer money.
