Man, if there's any video I've seen that visually portrays the decay in Detroit better than this one I can't begin to think of it. The journalist/reporter is humorous and entertaining, which is no small feat when you're reporting on a topic as depressing as Detroit's future, but he asks a very important question: could the rest of America end up looking like this desolate landscape because of government ineptitude?
It is a great example of a heavily democratic/union state. We should all hope to be so lucky- unemployed and living in a slum. Isn't that the liberal road to happiness? Think of what a liberal, pro-union state government could do for the rest of us!

Every Mayor of Chicago has been a Democrat for the past 70 years. Using this guys logic Chicago should resemble Detroit. Chicago has a thriving downtown and is nowhere near where Detroit is. So much for that theory.
