Well many pundits have commented that the government is being led by Wall Street Liberals, so I don't think F500s got anything to worry about. Small businesses on the other hand (HR mandates) are a whole another story.

You don't mean the ones that nearly brought about a global financial collapse, do you?
Well they made everyone ELSE pay for their mistakes and get away with it. Gotta give 'em credit for that.

Indeed, in many ways, the US has gone down the tubes, and could be heading for prosperity hell as fast as she can slide. And didn't the USA want to "stamp out" Communism at one time ? Wasn't it the big cause not too long ago ? Now we are "stamping out" dollars on a machine in Washington D.C. It's pathetic.

I guess being the world's sole super power, we all just thought it'd always be this way. Maybe its won't be so bad after all.

Sometimes competition can bring out the best in you.

Well they're some new (quite ancient actually ) kids on the block, and we have to deal with them.

You're a never ending source of ignorant remarks.

All three Countries have higher government spending as a percent of GDP than the USA.

In Japan and South Korea 50% more....lol

The Audacious Epigone: Government spending as a percentage of GDP by country

I have no clue why you think a "mixed economy" is bad?

I agree we have to revise our trade agreements if we want to re-establish ourselves as business friendly. Right now they are only friendly to the multi-national corporations.

Evidently there is less red tape and it is easier to set up a business in Communist China than it is here.

Bottom line solution is to: Forget about voting in more Republicans or Democrats who won't think for themselves and just tow the party line.Vote out all attornies currently in office; don't elect any new attornies to any political office; elect only those people with other professional backgrouds who are the most honest and ethical running to END corruption and fascism and return the power to the people.... and this solution will improve MANY aspects of life here including restoration of our FREEDOMS; the ending of BIG BROTHER in our face everytime we turn around; reduction if not elimination of income and property taxes; re-establish a business freindly climate and bring back MFG to the United States!

"reduction if not elimination of income and property taxes"

That's about the kookiest proposal I've heard all week.

Tell us.

Of the scores of Countries in Asia that are eating our lunch right now, have any of them eliminated income taxes?

In fact, as I linked to, these country's Governments are bigger size for size than our government!

As I have posted previously those that believe in Western divine blessing or innate superiority are going to be in for a shock in the coming years and decades.

There is a New World Order. Look the East is Burning Red!!
I don't think it's quite as cut and dry as you are saying, but to an extent, yes this is all true ... And what do you expect really? China is moving more and more towards a free-market, capitalist system and we're moving the opposite way! Socialism will be the fall of America. The increase in regulations and tax laws in this country is and will continue to prevent businesses from hiring and sparking innovation.

I can only hope that the socialism "fad" here in the US will die quickly, otherwise America will permanently change for the worse.

Ahhh! So the right wingers are back on the deregulation bandwagon!

Nevermind that we just had a catastrophic melt down of the banking industry due to deregulation of mortgage lending. Nevermind the SEC is doesn't have the resources or power to keep the same thing from happeing again.

They just want more deregulation.

Are Americans this stupid???????
