With 82% of the precincts counted, Brown (R) is ahead of Coakley (D), 52% to 47%... and Coakley has called Brown and given her concession.
That should take care of National Socialist Medicine, and hopefully Cap & Tax.

Now, will Obama, Reid, and Pelosi keep hammering away, trying to pass uber-National-Socialist legislation, and so trash the Democrat party for the next election? If they do, might Republicans gain majorities in the House and Senate in November.
Republicans had better get their acts together FAST, and present a good national platform of reducing SPENDING, reducing taxes, and reducing regulation. That first one is quite different from what they did in the 2000's, though they're good for the other two.
If they don't get their acts together, then there won't be much point in being a member of the Republican party.

Yes, let's hear the plans from the Repubs, it would be an excellent change of pace from the continual whining we have been getting so far. Hope they are more productive than they were when they had a majority for six years under Bush, you do know people still remember how well things went under the Repubs, I doubt they will shifting to the GOP in droves no matter how much some may wish it.

Democrat/Republican who cares? Thank God the American people got lucky. Now B.O. /Pelosi/Reid are going to really find it hard to shove their Health Plan down our throats. We're sick of being treated like children, sick of secret meetings, sick of Chicago Style politics, sick of tax breaks for BOs' buddies.
The remaining 3 years for BO are going to be very, very, long.
Well this should be a wake up call for the Dems. One of the most liberal states just elected a Repub. Congress enjoys that 18% approval rating. Before it was GWB's fault. He wouldn't let them do anything. Now with solid majorities and a sympathetic prez they still are not delivering on promises. Whats the excuse?

It would seem that Americans have noticed that it is business as usual only now the excuses are more obvious and equally lame.
Let's see if they are just going to be using the filibuster to say no, no, no like they have for the last year instead of piecing together a bill that will help alleviate the problems and keep the impact low. We can tell how health care reform was addressed in the last 8 years after Clinton, which was not at all, and hopefully that won't continue.
All I can say is if they decide to just drown it in bureaucrat instead of dealing with the problem, people are going to have to realize how throughly they bent themselves over the table and screwed themselves. It will be a slow motion Darwin award. I don't care either way, as one way the place I work will have more paying patients...the other way I pay less taxes and watch as those who rabbled for the Tea Party realize they were tools for the backers instead of helping themselves. Win freaking win baby.
