I can dig it. And I'm one of those evil Obama supporters. People with bad credit and/or insufficient funds should never be allowed to buy houses. Nothing wrong with renting until you can afford to buy (if that time ever comes). Good for the gov. Luckily mine is around 770 and we are buying this summer .
same here OS.
Im renting until late summer then buying.
Will have more downpayment and probably will not need FHA by then.
I didn't mention anything about Obama, Brown, Bush or the like. I am finally praising government for getting out of the way, even if it's just a lil' bit.
Nor did I say you did. The requirements were changed because politicians made it a political issue. They wanted votes. Politicians don't care about long-term consequences, they only care about what will get them reelected.

Well, they did something right for a change, regardless of how many people this supposedly "disenfranchises".

Anyone who believes their being slighted are the very same people that REALLY do not need a mortgage. Why should my taxes once again go towards someone that locked themselves into a debt they can not afford?

You know good point, this is what got us in trouble to begin with, i have seen first hand what happens, when one gets into a home, they absolutely cannot afford, no sense if you can't afford it.

Exactly...especially now that the government is enticing folks with this homebuyers credit.
