Nor did I say you did. The requirements were changed because politicians made it a political issue. They wanted votes. Politicians don't care about long-term consequences, they only care about what will get them reelected.

Well, they did something right for a change, regardless of how many people this supposedly "disenfranchises".

Anyone who believes their being slighted are the very same people that REALLY do not need a mortgage. Why should my taxes once again go towards someone that locked themselves into a debt they can not afford?

You know good point, this is what got us in trouble to begin with, i have seen first hand what happens, when one gets into a home, they absolutely cannot afford, no sense if you can't afford it.
