Maybe, if Obama wants bipartisan cooperation, he can start by calling national attention for his support of the intorduction of John McCain and Maria Cantwell of a new Glass-Steagall Bill.
The original was put into effect right after the Great Depression to prevent another depression. Corporate interests persuaded our government to chip away at it until there was nothing left. Shortly thereafter, we got our current financial hardships with corporations 'too big to fail'.
Why did Obama surround himself with the very people who created this mess? They haven't changed.
