Gee...

Maybe that was all a bunch of baloney.
lets talk about a bunch of baloney.
What did Bush deregulate
What trickle down did he engage in?
Let the market decide? You forget him bailing out the market in order to save it? Short memories and selective knowledge for some

Maybe not. Tax cuts work. The record deficits seem to owned now by the Obama team who continues the Bush policy of bailing out Wall St and friends, and spending way too much. I see so much similarity in these two adminsitrations.

I find it difficult to believe you are in the market with such a dire opinion on the direction this country is heading. That would seem to be a little conflicting.

If you indeed worked on construction management systems, you would know that housing developments are timed for things like COLD.. Its WINTER TIME.. If its 20 out instead of the expected 30 out, this does not stop construction from taking place. It does mean they need to use different chemicals when mixing cement but winter is COLD and housing projects are planned MONTHS, sometimes YEARS in advance..
No, we are discussing WINTER. In much of the country WINTER brings with it SNOW. It's not the COLD that impacts exterior construction so much as it's the SNOW and rain (but especially SNOW - and especially when it's HEAVY SNOW) - and recently much of the country has been hit with pretty bad SNOW (more so than usual).

And yes I KNOW construction is timed against the seasons, but I also know that what is PLANNED isn't always what HAPPENS. Of course the weather doesn't always STOP construction, but it DOES IMPACT it. It slows it down, it makes it more difficult and it makes it more complicated.

Face it, the weather impacts construction - and that's a FACT. That's why construction activity is highest during the summer season. That's why such numbers are SEASONALLY ADJUSTED.

Im suprised you have not learned the market is irrational and is basically a controlled game by now.

So now you are proclaiming when I post true factual statements, they are "dire opinions"?

Tell me, are you someone who thinks the stock market is a direct relation as to how our economy is doing?

With massive program trading by the big boyz on Wall Street (GS) it's like bellying up to the craps table in Vegas wondering if the dice are loaded.

Why should I tell you everytime I make a move? LOL
I got out last Friday after there was lots of good news and the markets STILL went down. The funds I own lost 4% or so the previous week and a half so I did take my losses but considering I'd gained well over 70% from the bottom I don't feel too bad.
