The context in which he said that was to the democrat members of congress, so they would stop "hearing" all the pundits, all the bad poll numbers, all the people screaming around the country for them to stop.
"If everybody here turned off your CNN, your Fox, just turn off the TV, MSNBC, blogs, and just go talk to folks out there, instead of being in this echo chamber where the topic is constantly politics."
