Ever since Barack Obama started running for the White House, he's been plagued by lawsuits from detractors who claim that he is not a natural-born citizen, and thus is ineligible to serve as president. Now the devoted conspiracy theorists of the so-called "eligibility movement" have a fresh target: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And there's a chance that the Supreme Court might hear their challenge.
The chance of this happening in reality is about zero. More constitutional misinterpretation about in line with the "The constitution doesn't say I have to pay my taxes folks."
I guess these people only like their frivolous lawsuits while showing disdain for others.
I hope nothing comes of it. I'm hardly a fan of this administration, but the few adults that are around shouldn't be driven out. Hillary has her critics, but so far her tenure at State seems to be pretty smooth. She can't help Obama's painfully immature overtures to the Arab world (I always think of Sally Fields "You like me, you really like me" speech), but her steady gravitas is an effective counterweight to his silly excesses.
