The fact is, you don't know if Mr Hunter helped people or not. You don't know. But you think you have the right to ask for testimonials so that you can qualify him as a hero.

Who made you judge? Who made Joe Stack judge?

No justification for what Joe Stack did. He was wrong as wrong can be.

^Funny, but YOU have the right to judge Joe Stack as a terrorist?

Well, again, he's with the mainstream opinion so it's ok. Mob rules baby.

I doubt ANYONE at the IRS stood up for someone once they were being audited. Cowards worried about losing their jobs with a cozy salary and benefits, just like Stasi file clerks living the high life in centralized government work.

No one. I don't condone the particular action, no matter how many of you say I did.

Agreed on the 2nd sentence, and mostly with the 1st.

THIS is your agenda. Stand up for those being audited? Because EVERYONE who gets audited is in the right and the IRS is always in the wrong? Or do you have additional criteria for which people being audited need to defended?

It's not that everyone should be stood up for, especially if they're a mobster or got that money through illegal activity. Hunter chose not to stand up for someone on even one occasion in his entire career. The workers of the IRS do a job and go home and only work to the benefit of the IRS, just like Stasi file clerks did. Hunter likely had evidence of situations where it was an honest mistake, but there's never a mention of him putting his neck on the line for that customer. No evidence of him going out of his way to help an IRS customer. By the way, that's the terminology used by the IRS.

Why should I have to 'correct your thinking" if you already know what taxes are collected and used for?

here's a hint: Income taxes on individuals collected by the IRS are not used for anything.

come to think of it,
you just might be older than me...way older...as in senile older

p.s.- go look up property taxes and come back and tell us what those are used for.
