The troops are still in the same places where Bush sent them. The Patriot Act has been extended. So what are the negative results in your life that you can directly attribute to Obama being the President? Please be specific.

I am a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep mechanic. I have worked for years in these dealerships in the SE Detroit market. By closing many of these profitable dealerships as part of his unconstitutional bailout of his friends in the UAW he has made our already nation leading unemployment problem far, far worse. He not only eliminated the dealerships who needed my skill set, but he also made my previously valuable talents highly unmarketable by saturating the market with DCX techs. You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting an unemployed GM or Chrysler mechanic. Include with those people all the lube techs, porters, service writers, cashiers, parts personnel, managers, accountants, estimaters, painters, frame mechanics, body techs, third party suppliers and maintenance people.

I ran into one of the service writers with whom I used to work. He now works for an aftermarket repair shop that offers no benefits. He told me that our service manager who had gone to a different dealership (now closed) was working at a crap job outside of the industry. Our careers were sacrificed for the sake of the pampered UAW members.

Post 131 came close to the OP.
Still too many posts don't contain any substance, but a lot of 'ifs', 'maybes', and various other specualtions.
And, yes there's one poster that hasn't mentioned any personal hardship, but keeps yapping (emphatically) about the 'race card'.

He has started a class warfare that will not end well.

You can't divide the have's from the have not's by gutting the middle class without a lot of angry productive, smart and armed people.

Obama will clearly go down as the most divisive-traitor, un-constitutional president that this country has ever known.

I can make up a bunch of propaganda too.

It proves nothing.

Watching so called American "patriots" on this forum transparently blame ANYTHING that goes wrong on Obama has created a dip in my confidence for the general health of the nation.

To know that many of my fellow citizens would rather focus their energy on hoping that President Obama fails in anything he does shows me that we have disturbing societal illness at work- people who based on race or party politics would rather spend loads of energy to slander, obstruct and generally whine hatefully.

People think that because this is a public forum they can air their nastiest thoughts. Think again. Malicious hatred and unconstructive bashing will be the undoing of your life first and foremost. You believe that posting hateful comments of the president is your god given right, but when others post critical comments of your endorsed political celebrities you have a conniption and run in circles defending whatever politician it is who generally doesn't give a rat's as* about you and your trite complaints. You hee hoe'd war efforts during the Bush presidency that generally supported your duped idea that we are fighting "terror" as well as comforted your xenophobic tendencies. Yet anything Obama does in this regard, be it a surge or forecasted pull out, is something to stomp on.

You want to see America as you see it via your X-Box, via your cable television movies or via your Fox propaganda. Who are these numbnuts who actually agree to be commentators? They look like people who should be giving me a manicure, not giving me the news.

The only part of the Obama presidency that has disappointed me so far is seeing the people of the aforementioned description come out of the woodwork. And seeing that they're also often stupid, don't check their sources and would rather watch the country go to pot than actually thrive.

All opinions. Can you attribute any of your personal hardships directly to Obama's Presidency?

Some say that Obama makes America look bad. To those who don't know what's happening outside the USA, this may sound like a true statement.
Actually, it's the gun-toting, bible thumping, anti-intellectual, war-mongering, racist, homophobic, greedy Americans that make America look like a nation of wackos.

It's just amazing to see these people claiming that foreigners dislike us because of Obama.

Holy Kool-Aid Batman, that's some strong stuff they're drinking.

I have relatives in Canada, Germany, Norway, and Korea. I travel to these places often (a relative works for Lufthansa and gets me good deals, lucky me), and I have not once heard someone in any of those places say they dislike Obama. On the contrary.

But these self-deluded people don't care, they just stick their fingers in their ears and claim the opposite. Mental block be thy name.

Knock down the Democratic majority, one by one, with scandals. The Democratic Majority are knocking down themselves pretty well with no help. Money in the freezer "Jeferson", paid vacation for Charlie, and of course some inappropriate touching by Mesa"

...even though Obama has pretty much done absolutely nothing.

And by the way, those bailouts, were Bush's. Wake up people!
The comments in red were my addition.
Let me remind you that Bush was facing a possible collapse of the financial system, and did it despite of his free market ideology.

Also the bank bail out was suppose to be about buying the distress properties, this was changed later to actually just giving the Banks the money, in some case forcing them to take it.
And yes, I was against it then too.

I am talking about the rest of the bailout.
I am talking about stimulus money that never stimulate anything.
I am talking about federal bids going ONLY to Unionized companies, even though we all know that it cost more money to build using the union.

After he was attacked about it he offered each bidding company to offer two bids one with union and one without, which only show how much this administration know about the cost to bid a government job.
As someone who is involved in the construction, it hurt me personally.

Builders bewildered by government request for dual bids
The Obama administration is asking that bids for federal construction projects include project labor agreements that demonstrate union representation of workers. A recent request by the General Services Administration for not one but two bids -- one with the PLA, one without -- is causing distress among builders, who are worried about the cost of dual bids. The Washington Times (12/27)
