No offense, but with the rising epidemic of childhood obesity and its related long-term health concerns for our kids, this has got to be the SINGLE DUMBEST idea I have ever heard of. There is a national push to get this junk food OUT of our schools, not bring it in. I just wrote a 9 page proposal to my school board to revise their health and nutrition policies in light of this epidemic.

You may want to educate yourself about this very serious epidemic. Michelle Obama's website is actually quite informative http://www.letsmove.org There's also tons of information at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.

hahahhaha!!!

Sadly, I could see this actually becoming a viable (and supported) idea in many American towns

I see you've bought into the "crisis" hype.

Terrible idea. Schools should not be advertising for these companies. It doesn't matter whether they're selling fries or tofu.

Hype? I beg to differ. And how is this 'other men's matters'? I have kids. I care about their futures and their health. Have you looked at the statistics on childhood obesity? They are alarming. Rates have doubled to tripled within the past 30 years.

Go on, put your head in the sand and ignore it. Enjoy your fries and shake while you're at it.
