A Salvation Army major was shot dead in front of his three children on Christmas Eve in North Little Rock, Arkansas, authorities said.
Maj. Philip Wise, 40, was gunned down Thursday. He was found lying by the back entrance of a Salvation Army facility, said police spokesman Sgt. Terry Kuykendall.
That is truly sad. The predators who murdered this Christian man, knowing the money collected by the Salvation army goes to help those without anything, are the lowest of the low. May justice be swift and decisive when they are found.
Prayers to his family who had to witness this act of pure evil on Christmas eve.

So if he was an non-christian, his death wouldn't matter? Besides, the article doesn't even mention if he is a Christian or not.
In any case, my heart goes out to his family. Such a senseless crime.
Yes, that's horrible, but no more horrible than every other death that occurs.
I think that if you really ever knew someone who'd spent their lives working for the Salvation Army, you might think differently.
They live their entire lives in service to other people. Most of their leaders have grown up in the Salvation Army and have risen up through the ranks.
Their shelters house homeless people and other people that no one else will help.
Two men, approached that man to take money that had been donated by others to give to the poor. After taking the money, they killed him.

It's very sad.
Your speaking to a person who is a government employee.
Their mindset is the polar opposite of the statement of yours that is emboldened

Sad indeed.
Right because state social workers, people who work as doctors in nurses for city governments, federal government, state government, etc. don't care about other people?
Give me a break!
How can someone spend their ENTIRE life dedicated to Salvation Army? Wouldn't they have to start at birth for the statement: ENTIRE LIFE to be correct?
The guy was 40 and spent 16 years working with the Salvation Army. That doesn't qualify as his ENTIRE LIFE.
