Once again showing his true colors on how he feels about the military. At least he is being honest and not running to the middle and trying to pull off the 'I'm a moderate" routine the Liberals always use around election time.

What's really cool is how Kerry managed to get the Republicans talking about Iraq again. It sure seemed like they wanted to forget it the last couple of weeks. Now all those Republican congressmen and senators get to take credit for okaying this war. It's like "Yep! You're smart guys and WE sent you to Iraq!" LOL!

If Lurch had any intentions of running again in 08 he just shot a hole into his swift boat a mile offshore in the middle of a shark feeding frenzy

I don't think Kerry has any intention of running again... And I think he did what he wanted to do: Put the Iraq War right back into the center of attention again.

Ain't it grand?

While Pubbies are waiting for him to apologize, the rest of America is going "Hey? What ARE we doing in Iraq?"

Ya'll got trumped but you weren't even smart enough to realize it!

I can't imagine why anyone would want to align with the Republican party. Beyond crooks and pedophiles, what else are they offering? Closet homosexuals? Lower taxes? Is this as in "Bob Jones wants to offer you lower taxes and would like to take your sons to their next boy scout retreat?"

Bwwwwhahahahahahaha!!!!

You got a bunch of sick suckers representing you and you don't even know it. That's the "smarts" behind the Republican party.

Quoted for truth.

The one thing the Republican party does well is get people to vote against their own best interests. What they're REALLY all about is creating an aristocracy that includes themselves and their rich CEO buddies, but they can't get any votes that way, so they pander to racists, homophobes, and xenophobes, and make people afraid by keeping them in a state of constant war, all to get enough other people to go along with them. That's why they constantly have to resort to campaigns of fear, smear, and distortion- they know that if they showed their agenda for what it really is, no one in their right mind would vote for them.

we can add wife-beating and complete disrespect for consequences to this list of Republican "values". Rep. John Sweeney (R-NY) apparently beats his wife, including putting her in a choke hold, and blames Democrats for the prosecution of his son's felony conviction for fracturing a man's skull during a fight.

The good news is that he is getting his butt kicked in the polls in his re-election bid. Only six more days until the grown-ups are back in charge of Congress.

He has said he meant something else. After listening to our President botch almost every word he says for the past 6 years, surely you ought to be used to someone botching a line every once in a while. He can't very well apologize for something he didn't mean.

If you don't like him, don't vote for him.

Of course, after all the massive failures and botched policies of the GOP for the past 6 years, I can understand how you might seize something like this as a life preserver...

Hi,

I hate watching politics for the same reason I hate watching European soccer. It's a lot of prancing, kicking, and gratuitous over-acting in the hopes of scoring a penalty. All this dancing around and so much of the time the game ends in a draw. The contest is really decided as the drunken spectators spill out into the streets beating each other into a pulp.

Would that it were like good old American Football where the players are the ones pounding each other while rival fans can sit together, cheering their teams with a beer and BBQ.

No difference exists between the two national parties. If you think either of them represent you, you are sadly mistaken.

That has been my conclusion for the last few years.

Deciding what party to vote for (R&D) is the same as whether you want bread or not on your sh#t sandwich.
