I haven't followed all the ins and outs of the health care bill, but as I understand it everyone will be required to buy insurance. Given that everyone is already insured, does Medicaid get shut down?
Families on Medicaid do not pay for it directly, as they are generally low income or there is no working individual in the household. The healthcare bill was intended to fill the gap between the low income threshold and the higher income brackets where health insurance was most common.

Not only is Medicaid still there, the GOP will be voting to have the Federal Government pay for it in Nebraska and Louisiana
The CornHusker and Louisiana Purchases

Why would the GOP switch their vote on this? They have voted against the Cornhusker kickback and LP so far, it's only been a Dem thing to bribe their own members to vote for this bill.
a lot..........anyone that cannot afford insurance will be put on medicaid....
I read half of the 30-32 million uninsured (this isn't including illegals) will be added to Medicaid, which already sucks. Obama loves you, or in Biden's words: "This is a big f-ing deal!"
