What? It's only been 2 days, and the public is now warming up to the new health care law? What hope does the GOP have in ever winning future elections? Are they going to campaign to repeal the law? Do you think that's gonna win them any votes? Try telling voters you're going to reinstate the Medicare doughnut hole, or you're going to strip 11 year olds with leukemia of their insurance, and we'll see how many votes you're gonna get.

This health care law is a big win for the Democratic party politically. This law may have just given the party 32 million new members/supporters. It has the potential of making the Democrats the ruling party for generations to come.

Yeah, I just finished watching the local Fox newscast- they actually featured a few stories showing families that were against the bill until they realized that they would actually benefit from it- for example one had a daughter who had been uninsurable and the father was surprised to find, after actually reading up on it, that she would now be able to be insured- he had been against the bill- now he is happy it passed- he was against it no doubt due to the right's fear tactics-

As will continue to be the case.

The more the Repubs try to fight against the bill, the more their popularity will drop.

Now the snake oil salesman POTUS will go on the road trying to sell the American people on this. I for one don't even want to hear him.

Yeah, cool it with the bad news! Republicans are infuriated & can't handle anymore blows of reality. Of-course, when could Republicans ever handle anything and especially reality?

We didn't miss jack. Your first poll was posted here today.

Of course you failed to break it down being dishonest as you are.

Allow me.

A new CNN poll today finds that Americans oppose the current health care plan by a margin of 59-39%, but a sizable portion of those opposed -- 13% -- oppose it because "it is not liberal enough" (see questions 20 and 21):

Thus, a majority of Americans either support the plan or believe it should be more liberal (52%), while only a minority (43%) oppose the plan on the ground that it is too liberal.

now favor???

highly doubt it, unless they are brain dead

this bill does NOTHING but HURT the american people

insurance will be more costly now
care will be more costly
we will be mandated to buy insurance we cant afford, or face a fine
medicaid will be more costly
taxes will go up
jobs are going away

the only good thing out of this bill was the 'pre-existing' thing
