I dont remember them saying a thing, in fact, if you criticized Cheney's butt puppet you were called un-American.

Quote:
For most of the past 70 years, the U.S. economy has grown at a steady clip, generating perpetually higher incomes and wealth for American households. But since 2000, the story is starkly different.

The past decade was the worst for the U.S. economy in modern times, a sharp reversal from a long period of prosperity that is leading economists and policymakers to fundamentally rethink the underpinnings of the nation's growth.

Maybe no one was complaining about Bush creating jobs because we had the lowest unemployemnt in history when Bush was president.

And his tax cuts? The federal government took more in in taxes in 2006, 2007 and 2008 than any years in history.

Why do democrats keep blaming Bush for everything? It's been well over a year since he left office.

Mostly because the unemployment rate was fairly low through most of President Bush's two terms:

Where can I find the unemployment rate for previous years?

The irony again here is - if Obama tries to use government spending to help save Bush's sinking ship that is the US economy wingnuts start squealing about Socialism.

If he lets the private sector alone to continue to destroy our country the same usual suspects will then squeal about lost jobs and unemployment under Obama.

Just have to try to keep living surrounded by Village Idiots ERRR Tea Party members.

Hah. Bush jumped out of the plane going down in flames in his golden parachute. Statistics are the result of dynamic fluctuating forces which occur months and even years before they are taken. Obama was dealt a terrible hand of cards, and all things considered has done a decent job of keeping the plane from bursting into flames and killing all on board so far.

Nice work with the link though.

Those weren't permanent jobs [MOD CUT/insults] they were jobs built by a credit bubble. Construction was booming under Bush and by the end of his term construction jobs were at the worst they've ever been in this country. We didn't create new sustainable jobs, Obama is continuing many of Bush's policies, this isn't partisan.

How many complained about lack of jobs in 1928 ?
How many complained about lack of jobs in 1931 ?

When times are good no one complains.

How were times good? Everything under Bush was built on credit. We had a credit card that we rung up billions of dollars on, but we dont have any money. If Americans had any foresight they would have seen this coming. Things dont get bad overnight, it took us 30 years to destroy this country.

Until it went bust..no one complained but Schiff and Roubini.
