...But of course, if you need a comparison, please feel free to choose this pic. Ooh, ooh...these are so telling. So glad you brought this subject up, Sanrene!
By the way, each of these pics took, you know, one second to look up. Wow, people are really reaching and all because of sour grapes...It's sad.
You do realize of course, that if this pic was shown first, the OP would have said that Obama just wanted the photo op. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Do you mean the White House photog took that picture of Obama for some other reason? Well I be danged, I never would have thought that. I thought the civilian dressed blonde might be someone traveling with Obama since the soldiers around him didn't seem to be paying him any attention.
Uhhhhhhhh, with the way he's literally climbing the thing?...I'd say, yes. Are you kidding me?
Considering he is standing on a "walkway", with the barricade a couple of feet back and the troops behind the barricade, the only recourse to be able to reach the troops is to put a foot on the barricade.
Of course, he COULD have just walked along the floor by the barricade.

And Bush COULD have respectfully faced "the troops" in the pics I posted, rather than for the press...what's your point again? And please remember it was you that brought up the comparison in the first place.
Been there done that. To the troops Obama and Bush are as different as day and night (nothing to do with color, by the way). The troops just loved Bush. Not so with Obama. Some of you can argue about this if you like, but I won't argue because I know what I am talking about.
Now, while Bill Clinton was not as popular with the troops as Bush, he was still liked.
