It's ironic. Conservatives and Republicans constantly harass Democrats and liberals for being "politically correct", but it appears that it's nothing other than political correctness that keeps Republicans from replacing Michael Steele as the RNC Chairman.
I wasn't aware that Steele should be replaced --- what is he doing wrong? I had to vote "not sure" because I am not a Republican and don't know what sort of internal issues there are with Steele. Surely it's not the West Hollywood strip club deal, that wasn't Steele's fault. If he had gone there or had knowingly approved the expenditure then he'd be culpable.
But I must admit he doesn't seem like a very strong leader. He's not a compelling figure at all and definitely not a good public speaker. So is THAT the problem?
