They both have the right to free speech and the right to bear arms. If they choose to use them, I will side with the Panthers in that battle- although I do not like either group much. Will it be on cable TV? Maybe a "Jerry Springer Special" here!
If they do not have felony convictions, they have as much right to bear arms as anybody else does. They simply were dressed in fatigues and carrying weapons. They were there to provide security to the polling places. They did not point or use their weapons at any voter nor did they go into the booth and tell any voter how to vote. They broke no laws.
You do realize there is a United States Civil Rights Commission inquiry into WHY the obama/holder JD DROPPED the prosecution of these thugs even though they had them dead to rights?
WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Justice Department is dropping charges against the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense and two of its members who were allegedly involved in voter intimidation on Election Day at a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania polling station.
A Justice spokesman said the department decided to take this action after winning an injunction earlier this month against a third member, Samir Shabazz, that prevents him from ever brandishing a weapon outside a polling place again as he was charged with doing last November.
"Time and again over the last year, the department has stonewalled any effort to learn about the decision to dismiss the case," he continued. "I have written Attorney General (Eric) Holder on six occasions asking for an explanation for the dismissal of this case. To date, I have received no response from him."
The commission feels it is being stonewalled, too, and has filed subpoenas with the department for the information as well as to interview career attorneys that handled the case.
The administration WON the case in April and dropped the charges in May and has so far refused to answer the most basic of questions.
So much for the most transparent administration ever.
The SEIU failed to demonize voters, now the National Socialists a.k.a Democrat Party are bringing in the New Black Panthers. Why are they doing this? To polarize Americans over race. Then the Democrats will slander all Whites as racists in order to legalize 20 million illegal aliens a.k.a democrat voters.

Naw, they may play the card game but not so obviously as in a NBP demonstration as that would be permanent political suicide.
Contrary to popular belief, the Black Panthers weren't really a racist group. At least the originals in the 60s and 70s weren't. There were even a few Asian members in the original Black Panther Party. In fact, Richard Aoki( Japanese btw) was one of the first members of the BPP back in the 60s and 70s.

Maybe you should aquaint yourself with the New Black Panthers. I doubt you can make such claims about this group once you read their website.
