He acts more like a D-list celebrity on American Idol than he does a respected, dignified President. He disgraces the White House and our former great leaders who behaved as a World Leader should. No wonder the US is fast losing respect not just at home but the world over. He clearly doesn't care that he's ruining the US's reputation. It's bad enough he's trying to turn us in a pansy, socialist, impotent European-like country.

I really miss my old, grand America.

I'm more embarrased by the so-called adults that voted for him.

Whether you like it or not, he is not going anywhere for the next year 2 and half years. So you either suck it up and accept it, or leave the USA.

Global Perceptions of U.S. Leadership Improve in 2009
Perceptions of U.S. leadership worldwide improved significantly from 2008 to 2009. The U.S.-Global Leadership Project, a partnership between the Meridian International Center and Gallup, finds that a median of 51% of the world approves of the job performance of the current leadership of the U.S., up from a median of 34% in 2008.

Maybe you should've cried out long time ago because the US was losing some of it's respect at home & over the world when Bush was in the office.
That's long before Obama entered the White House.

Typical republican.
Held in the tears during Bush's act of "Country torturing" for 8 years. Now you want to cry & place the blame on Obama.

Wasn't it during the Bush term that this country fell into the financial turmoil & also caused us to have gas prices spiral out of control?
FINANCIAL CRISIS TIMELINE

You say you miss old, grand America. I guess you were one of the ones cheering when majority of this country's profit was based mainly on inflation.
I guess now the truth & reality hurts.

...oh wait that was Bush...

And when he called the APEC conference in Australia the OPEC conference in Austria.
..shoot, GWB again

Calling the Pope "sir"
...GWB again

Massages German Chancellor's shoulders
..GWB again, awkward

I'm embarrased by the fact there are fellow countrymen who raise hell about the weakest of things about him
He doesn't throw a baseball properly
He smokes
He bowed down to other world leaders
He doesn't use the term "war on Islam"
He's selfish
He wore a White Sox hat to a Nats game
Booo hooo cry me a river and get a life

Nope!

I'm more embarrassed of my own countrymen and women's behavior towards President Obama's behavior.

Grow up already.

Embarrassed? No. Disappointed? Yes.

Given the build up-great orator, one who will unite, change, etc.,- I expected a more statesman-like leader.

I see him as neither statesman-like, nor dignified. Too often he comes across as petty, belittling or
dismissive of those that disagree. He's far too thin-skinned given the position. It's unseemly for a President to routinely call out media types (Hannity, Limbaugh). His speeches are no longer eloquent and memorable..now just rhetoric and blame.

I don't remember ever seeing this country as divided and acrimonious. The tone is often set from the top down. His message of unity has dissolved into division.

And this from those that admire Sarah Palin's "folksy charm" and "down to Earth" manner.
