Reduce the debt, smaller government. Those are 2 big issues with the Tea Party. Not to discount popular types like Beck and Palin but they are the Teocons latching on to the movement. Smaller government except for their causes. Go small, or go home.
Slogans accomplish so much, don't they?

The Tea Baggers are doing the bidding of big corporations. Do you see any of them going after Republican Congresspersons who support agribusiness? Of course not.

He's not the only big spender for the party poopers:

"There’s just one element missing from these snapshots of America’s ostensibly spontaneous and leaderless populist uprising: the sugar daddies who are bankrolling it, and have been doing so since well before the “death panel” warm-up acts of last summer. Three heavy hitters rule. You’ve heard of one of them, Rupert Murdoch. The other two, the brothers David and Charles Koch, are even richer, with a combined wealth exceeded only by that of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett among Americans. But even those carrying the Kochs’ banner may not know who these brothers are.

When David Koch ran to the right of Reagan as vice president on the 1980 Libertarian ticket (it polled 1 percent), his campaign called for the abolition not just of Social Security, federal regulatory agencies and welfare but also of the F.B.I., the C.I.A., and public schools — in other words, any government enterprise that would either inhibit his business profits or increase his taxes. He hasn’t changed."

There was a terrific story on the Koch bros and others in the NYer a few weeks ago --

The billionaire Koch brothers’ war against Obama : The New Yorker

That bolded part really defines "Libertarians."

Since we've always had the current, so-called, "two-party system," then we must never have been on track in the first place, hm?

"W" was a good war-time president. He did what was necessary to protect the nation regardless of the political consequences. Aside from that he was GHWBII in every RINO respect. Clinton's inaction gave us 9/11, and his actions gave us the subprime meltdown of 2008. The only conservative worth mentioning was the Gipper.

Reagan was awesome.

Alright, that's it, time to face reality and stop beating around the bush and pussyfooting around.

There is a very real, lunatic fringe movement in this country that's bent on the destruction of the Constitution along with middle income America.

Their end goal is the establishment of a pseudo-Christian fundamentalist, theocratic state with multi-nationals ruling territories as their own personal fiefdoms.

And you know what, they are right now infiltrating our political system to set their agenda into motion.

This is no sci-fi flick people, this ***** is for real.

"Dig a little deeper into her past record, however, and one gets the sense that O'Donnell's legislative outlook is basically scripted by her social and religious views. In a C-SPAN appearance the Huffington Post unearthed from December 1996, the Delaware Republican said it was a "misconception that you, quote unquote, can't legislate morality."

"The reality of that statement is that if you don't legislate one morality then you are legislating somebody else's morality," she said. "So you can't get around legislating morality."
