Anyone who believes this nonsense should instantly be put in the bozo box. I mean, come on, there is being a low information voter (which the Republicans love to target with lies) and then there is just a gullible patsy. The people who don't instantly recognize this chain email as a lie are gullible patsies who need to buy some beach front property in Arizona from me.

Are you referring to the ignoramuses who voted for Obama who have no clue about what he's doing, whatsoever, just voted for him cuz of his skin color....as your definition of 'low information voter'?? cuz that would completely make sense.

now, for you immature ones on here who are only into 'insulting' and not seeking out the truth regarding this Cap and Trade bill, scurry on.

Fox? , The two articles in the OP are dated. When those articles were written they were 100% accurate as this language was in the bill, it was removed from the version that passed the house. Here's Rep. Scalise from Louisiana discussing it last year before it was removed.

Default my attorney brother's response=good news

Regarding the retrofitting deal:

"NO. An existing home owner does not have to do anything. It encourages states to require more efficiency from NEW construction via building codes, but that doesn't affect existing housing. Existing construction stays as is. The legislation does provide states with funding to reward owners of existing homes who voluntarily decide to retrofit (kind of like the tax credit to pay part of the cost, if you decide to put a solar panel on your house).

Factoid: Cloudy Germany now has more square meters of solar panels on homes and buildings there than the ENTIRE US! The German government made it a prime objective a few years back, and the Germans are now producing zillions of kilowatts of power, on their rooftops. Which replaces zillions of gallons of oil from Moslemland."
