BRIDGETOWN, Ohio, April 20 (UPI) -- An Ohio woman
said she opened a can of spaghetti to serve to her daughter and discovered a dead rodent at the top of the container.
Jennifer Aker said she opened the container at lunchtime Thursday at her Bridgetown home and was immediately confronted with a disgusting sight, Kypost.com reported Tuesday.
I'd be interested to see how this story unfolds, particularly in context of similar stories turning out to be scams. I have theories about how this could happen in real life, but I'd rather not give idiots ideas to copycat.
Did you actually read the linked snopes story? Not everything on snopes is verified as "false" and this happens to be one of them. Read the section at the bottom entitled "Fried Mouse Update" - the place where the fried mouse was purchased had been shut down twice before.

Yes, I did read the whole story. Yes I did see that at the very end. It is also not verified as true. I have heard the "Kentucky Fried Rat" story for 40 years now, always a different KFC store, and never from the person it actually happened to.
And the human finger in a pepsi can, and spider eggs in bubble gum called bubble yum. Snopes really does have their work cut out for them. Glad they're around and wish we had a dozen more just like them scrutinizing government press releases. hahhahaaaa
